LCCT Seminar BJJ Sketch Portrait
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Seminar Sketch
I do social media and web administration for Rise Up Martial Arts in Madison WI. We hosted a seminar by Luiz Claudio of LCCT from Chicago, and I took photos and video, and thought it would be really cool to draw a sketch of the seminar in progress. While Luiz was talking, I took some notes on the principles that he was explaining, next to the drawing of the position, with him explaining it. The drawing turned out to be a really exciting and meaningful document of the event, so I put it on the webpage with some video and photos. The notes were really useful for recalling what had been taught during the seminar, and hopefully it is a good resource for the students at the gym!

As an artist, it is a very quick sketch that leaves a bit to be desired, but I see it having a lot of potential as preparatory to a more ambitious painting, and it was my first time doing this kind of drawing at a seminar, so there is a ton of potential in my eyes!
Get in Touch, if you've got a seminar that you'd like me to sketch!
